Felice Kelly, 80 of Anoka, MN died peacefully in her home surrounded by family, cat Nala and with the assistance of Hospice. She was born Felicia Caroline Gallagher in Chicago May 13th 1941 to Dr. James Griffin Gallagher and Felicia Juska. After high school, Felice began nurses training at Cook County Hospital where she met and married Dr. William A Kelly. They moved to Fargo in 1961 to start and raise a family. The Kelly Clan grew with a total of 5 children by 1967. Felice was an accomplished tennis player perfecting her craft at Island Park and the Southgate Racquet Club. In 1980 she met her husband/ life partner Al Ackland and added two more children to the family. She and Al spent the next 40 years running several businesses and traveling extensively. Felice had a love of all animals big and small. She enjoyed music of all kinds, nature and the plant kingdom. She had an acute sense of propriety and was always a teacher of proper etiquette to the young and old. She is survived by her husband Al Ackland and daughter Felicia Kelly both of Anoka; son Michael Kelly (Lori) of Fargo, ND; stepdaughters Heather Bass (Brad), Mankato, MN and Laura Butler (Scott) Plymouth, MN and Kathryn Mandler, Olympia WA and 8 grandchildren and brother, James Gallagher of West Palm Beach, Florida. Preceding her in death were her parents and children Bill Steffens and Helen Steffens and brother, John Gallagher. A Celebration of life will be held at Greenhaven Golf Course 2800 Greenhaven Road Anoka, MN on July 22 10:30am visit 11:30am service with lunch to follow.
