Everett Arthur Wheeler, born on October 27, 1941, in Sarles, North Dakota, passed away on February 27, 2024 in Coon Rapids, Minnesota at the age of 82. He was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend.

Everett moved with his family to Grafton, North Dakota in 1957, where he later met and married the love of his life, Mary Watkins, before eventually settling in the Twin Cities. His interests were many and varied and included boating, snowmobiling, motorcycling, camping, and photography. He was employed by the Anoka/Hennepin School District until settling on his passion of photography and starting his own business.

He will be deeply missed by his surviving family members, his loving wife of 63 years, Mary; son's, Dennis (Nancy), David (Kimberly), Douglas (Michelle); brother, Ernest (Carol;  sister Ida Bubendorf; sisters-in-law, Faith and Joyce; grandchildren, Paige Noel (Shankar), Emily (fiancé Bradley Hagel), Zachary, Jack, Ethan, and Owen, along with brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces and nephews. Everett was preceded in death by his parents, Russell and Lena (Foisie); brothers Lloyd, Marshall, Richard; sister, Isabell; brother-in-law, Steven and other departed loved ones.

The visitation will be held on Sunday, March 3rd at Thurston-Lindberg Funeral Home, 2005 Branch Ave. Anoka, Minnesota from 4:00 to 7:00 and one hour prior to the 11:00 service on Monday, March 4th at Zion Lutheran Church, 1601 S. 4th Ave. Anoka, where Everett was along-time parishioner. Lunch will be served immediately after the service. A gathering at Champlin cemetery will follow the lunch.
