Evangeline Marie Ackermann , age 77 of Anoka, died on July 27, 2022.  She was born the daughter of George and Svea Aus  in St. Paul, MN, and later attended St. Olaf College where she met and married Leonard.  She enjoyed going on walks, reading, watching tennis, and faithfully cheered on her Minnesota Vikings and Twins.  One of her favorite places to be was Door County, Wisconsin where she and Len entertained many friends and family over the past 40 years going shopping, salmon fishing, or hanging out at the beach.  She loved her family and friends and her numerous pets, but her favorite title was grandma.  She will be missed on this earthly side, but we know she is in glory. She will remain in the hearts of her husband Leonard; sons, Mark (Deb) and Michael (Melissa); grandchildren, Hayley, Ben, and Grace; many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.  She was preceded in death by her parents and three brothers (Phil, Whitey, and Pete). A Funeral Service will be held for Vange on Tuesday, August 23rd at 11:30 AM at Mount Olive Lutheran Church, 700 Western Street, Anoka with visitation starting at 10 AM.
