Eva S. Hedstrom, age 89 of Anoka; beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend, died peacefully at home on Tuesday, June 5, 2018, surrounded by her husband and family.

Eva was born in Moorhead and raised in rural Glyndon.  She was a 43-year resident of Anoka.

Eva was preceded in death by parents, Hilmen and Adele Nelson; siblings, Bobbie (Jean) Nelson, and Denis (Luvenia) Nelson; daughter-in-law, Julie Hedstrom. She is survived by husband, Carl Wayne Hedstrom; children, Linda Hedstrom; Chuck (Holly) Hedstrom and Steve (Kathy Smith) Hedstrom; grandchildren Natasha Hedstrom, Alicia Hedstrom, Kassie (Zach) Nelson, Megan Hedstrom; great-grandchildren Addie and Lily Nelson.

A Memorial Service will be held at 12 Noon on Saturday, June 16, 2018 at Thurston-Lindberg Funeral Home, 2005 Branch Avenue, Anoka.  Visitation one hour prior to the service (11:00 a.m. – Noon.)  Luncheon to follow at the Anoka American Legion.

In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred to Anoka High School Girls' Activities; ACBC Food Shelf; or Allina Foundation.
