Yanke, Eugene R. age 85, of Anoka, passed away March 19, 2016. He was a teacher and wrestling coach for over 30 years at St. Francis High School. Preceded in death by daughter, Christine Yanke; and wife, Karla. Survived by children, Caryn Miller and Cathy Bates; significant other, Bernice Dornbusch; grandchildren, Gregory (Stephanie) Bates, Nicholas (Mary) Miller, Scott Miller, Shannon Coolbaugh, Tony Bates, Mark (Ashley) Miller; great-grandchildren, Hayden, Isabella, Tobin and Jax; siblings, Donald (Pat) Yanke, Shirley LaFlamme; and his faithful companion, Jessie; many other loving relatives and friends. A memorial service will be held Wednesday 11 AM, with visitation one hour prior at Thurston-Lindberg Funeral Home, 2005 Branch Ave., Anoka.
