Soine, Ernest I. age 97, of Anoka, MN. Born January 6, 1914 in Ray, ND, passed away peacefully on June 17, 2011. He was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather who will be remembered for the quiet way he demonstrated love for his family and God. Ernie was a prominent business owner of the Anoka Locker Plant for 30 years. If you had a "beef" you saw Ernie. Preceded in death by Ruth, his wife of 61 years; sisters, Mamie Pepper, Lillian Soine, and Cora Holland; and brother, Vernon Soine. He will be greatly missed by his daughters, Kathleen (Bill) Miller, Maryanna (Kevin) Blomer, Pamela (Mark) Dryer, and Valerie (Brad) Kopis; sister, Hazel Finney; grandchildren, Evan, Alaina, Colin, Joseph, Emily, Daniel, and Deanna; great-grandchild, Eli; and other relatives and friends. Memorial service Friday, July 8, 2011 at 11 AM with visitation 1 hour before at Zion Lutheran Church, 1601 4th Ave. S., Anoka. Special thanks to everyone at the Farmstead for their exceptional care.
