Elizabeth Louise "Betty" Hoffman, born April 1, 1935 in Pine City, MN has been called home to her Lord, Jesus Christ, having passed on June 23, 2023. She was married to Eugene Hoffman on September 8, 1962, and from that union five children were born, to which she was later blessed with five grandchildren. Eugene passed away in 1994, and in 1999 she married Bernard Wurm, growing her family by an additional three step daughters and eventually, six additional grandchildren.

Betty had unending faith in her God and Savior, enjoyed spending time with family and friends, loved a good adventure, her cat Joey, crocheting, crafting, painting, gardening, baking, playing various musical instruments, watching game shows, playing board games and bird watching with a love for cardinals.

Betty will be deeply missed by her surviving children, Karen (Doug) Berg, Leanne (Matt) Struve, Scott Hoffman, Kristi Hoffman and Jeff (Sybil) Hoffman; grandchildren, Anika, Aidan, Betsy, Lily and Will.

Stepchildren, Colleen (Mike) King, Lisa (Dan) Weiss and Nancy Wurm; grandchildren, Patricia, Jenna,  Matthew K., Amanda, Matthew W. and Meghan; sisters, Rosemary, Theresa and Dorothy; brother, Edwin John; many nieces, nephews, in-laws and friends.

An Evening Visitation will be held at Thurston-Lindberg Funeral Home on Thursday, June 29th from 5:00 - 8:00pm, with a Rosary at 7:00pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Stephen's Catholic Church on Friday, June 30th at 11:00am with a visitation one hour prior. Betty will be buried at Ft. Snelling National Cemetery on Wednesday, July 5th at 11:00am
