Schenk, Elda M. age 87 of Richfield, passed away on April 27, 2022. Passed away peacefully after long illness at Martin Luther Care Center, Bloomington, MN. She was a child of Sherwin L. Schenk and Pearl R. McFee.

She graduated from Anoka High School in 1952 . In 1956 she went to Minneapolis Art & Design School. in 195 she graduated from College of Medical Technology as registered American Medical Technologist. 1960 Minneapolis Vocational Arts School in 1981. She bought a 1 1/2 story home in Richfield, MN. She worked 39 years in the medical field. Worked five years in repair service for Telecommunications Company before retiring October, 1999. She joined the Church of Peace United Methodist Church in Richfield and sang in the choir for 7 1/2/ years.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Sherwin and Pearl R. Schenk. Survived by an Aunt G. Patricia Vomhof; a sister Nancy L. Gysbers; a niece, Sharon Gysbers; nephews, Jerry (Colleen) Gysbers; Adrian Gysbers; Ronald (Karla) Gysbers.

Funeral Services will be held on Friday (5/6/2022) at 1 PM with a visitation one hour prior at Thurston-Lindberg Funeral Home, 2005 Branch Ave, Anoka. Interment will follow at Forest Hill Cemetery in Anoka. Memorials preferred at American Heart Association or United Methodist Church of Peace, Richfield, MN.
