Edward F. Koppinger, age 91 of Andover, formerly of Cottage Grove, passed away peacefully surrounded by family on Tuesday, April 17, 2018 at his home.

In addition to his parents, Nicholas and Rose (Martin) Koppinger, Edward was preceded in death by his wife, Fern; daughter, Sharon; three brothers; and one sister.  He is survived by his son, Larry (Charmaine) Koppinger; grandchildren, Nicholas and Andrew Koppinger, and Christopher, Brandon, and Alicia Sundberg; brothers, Charlie and Harry (Carol) Koppinger; sister, Vivian (Arnold) Roetering.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, April 21, 2018 at St. Mary's Catholic Church, 437 Main Street, New England, ND.  Visitation 5:00 - 8:00 p.m. Thursday, April 19 , 2018 at Thurston-DeShaw Funeral Home, 13817 Jay Street NW, Andover and one hour prior to Mass at church on Saturday (9:00 - 10:00 a.m.)  Interment Pierce Congregational Cemetery, Scranton, ND.
