Hilliard, Dorothy E. age 83 of Cambridge formerly of Anoka passed away on November 25, 2025.

Born and raised on the family farm in Champlin, MN to Orval E. and Helen E. Baker. Dorothy grew up surrounded by siblings and animals. Her early love for all creatures, great and small stayed with her throughout her life.

Dorothy was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother who found her greatest joys in caring for her family. She took special delight in attending her children's, grandchildren's, and great-grandchildren's activities, sports and 4-H. You could also find her enjoying a cup of coffee on her back porch watching birds, squirrels and other various outside critters.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Harold; parents, Orval E. And Helen E. Baker; brothers, Kenneth, Glen and Robert Baker; sisters, Beverly Blumer and Darlene Lenz. Dorothy was survived by her children, Clif (Nadine), Robyn (Paul) Perlewitz, Holly and James; grandchildren, Erik (Christa) Johnson, Amanda Hilliard (Jake Ryding), Jammie Hilliard (Josh Hieserich), Daniel Hilliard, Raeanna and Isaiah Perlewitz; great-grandchildren, Kody and Karena Johnson, Chloe Ryding, Emmett and Charlotte Hilliard; sisters, Marlys Lick and Ramona Smith along with many nieces and nephews.

A visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 3, 2025 from 5 – 8 PM at Thurston-Lindberg Funeral Home, 2005 Branch Ave, Anoka.

Funeral Services will be on Thursday, December 4, 2025 at 11 AM with a visitation one hour prior at Trinity Lutheran Church, 3812 229th Ave NW, St. Francis.
