Dorothy J. "Dori" Schumacher, age 67 of Anoka, passed away peacefully surrounded by family on Tuesday, February 13, 2018 at J.A. Wedum Residential Hospice in Brooklyn Park.

In addition to her parents, Elmer and Gladys (Hoover) Johnson, Dori was preceded in death by her sister, Joyce Hanson; and brother-in-law, Dave McNeill.  She is survived by her loving husband of 49 years, Don Schumacher; children, Terri Schumacher and Paul Schumacher; grandchildren, Lucian and Sofie Patterson; sister, Shirley McNeill; brother, Kenny Johnson (Les Foss); brother-in-law, Gordy Hanson; also many nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.

A Celebration of Dori's life will be held at 11:00 am. on Saturday, March 24 , 2018 at First Congregational Church, 1923 N. 3rd Avenue, Anoka.  Visitation one hour prior to the service at church (10:00 - 11:00 a.m.)  Private Interment.

The family wishes to express special thanks to the staff of J.A. Wedum Residential Hospice for the loving care they provided to Dori.
