Treffert, Doris M. age 94 of Andover, Minnesota, former longtime North Fond du Lac resident passed away peacefully on June 21, 2023. She was born in Rhinelander, Wisconsin on May 18, 1929. Doris married Gordon Treffert on June 10, 1950. She was an avid reader and also enjoyed camping with family and friends, playing cards and knitting. Doris also loved Teddy Bears, had a great sense of humor and liked dancing to a wide variety of music. She was the wind beneath the wings of Gordy and her children.  She endured and welcomed the multiple pets that her children brought home. Doris always said her prayers and blessings and she will be missed and loved forever. Doris was preceded in death by her husband Gordon, sons Bruce & Steve, parents Vernie & Marie Olsen, brother and sister-in-law Vern & Gertie, brother-in-law Carl Gray and son-in-law Lon. She is survived by her children Daniel (Jackie) Treffert, Brian Treffert and Mary Beth Kensek, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, brother Robert (Socorro) Olsen, sister Nan Gray, nieces and nephews. A Memorial Visitation will be held on Saturday July 15, 2023 from 10 am until 11 am at the Uecker-Witt Funeral Home, 524 North Park Avenue, Fond lu Lac. Interment 11:30 am at the Estabrook Cemetery in Fond du Lac. Special thanks to St Croix Hospice and Cherrywood Advanced Living. Memorials are preferred to FDL Humane Society.
