Doris Sharpe

March 18, 1929 – May 4, 2019

Doris Sharpe, age 90, of Andover, formerly Outing, MN, passed away at Cherrywood of Andover on May 4 th , 2019. She was born March 18, 1929 to Theodore and Irene Aeikens in Monroe WI.

Doris retired from Moose Lake Regional Treatment Center after over 20 years of service. She moved to Outing, MN after retirement. Doris enjoyed playing accordion, knitting, gardening, spending time with friends and family. She was an active member of Cornerstone Church in Emily. She also volunteered with the Lions Club and the Volunteer library in Outing. She enjoyed outings with her Joy Club.

Doris is survived by her children Ben (Deb) Gilsdorf of Phoenix, AZ; Joseph (Karla) Gilsdorf of Gillette, WY; Beth (Peter) Newland of Golden Valley, MN; Faye (Dennis) Sewill of Andover, MN; and Judy (Kevin) Gilsdorf-Gracie of Brooklyn Center, MN; 14 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren.

A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, May 11, 2019 at 11:00 with visitation at 10:00am at Thurston-DeShaw Funeral Home, 13817 Jay St. NW., Andover.
