Donna Muriel (Horgen) Legrid was born in Boyd Minnesota on May 28th, 1930. 

She went home to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ August 15th with family by her side. She was preceded in death by her husband, David Carl Legrid, infant daughter Susan, parents, Albert and Gina (Livgard) Horgen, her brothers Kenneth, Milton (wife Adair), and sisters Lois (Horgen) Laabs (husband Merlin), Karen Horgen, brother-in-law Don Legrid (wife Gloria), sister-in-law Elaine (Legrid) Jahnke (husband Jack). She is survived by sons, David, Paul (wife Kelley), and grandchildren, Ryan, Katie, Andy, Brad, and Chris (wife Chloe), and great granddaughter Charlie. She is also survived by sister-in-law Yvonne (Legrid) Mann as well as many nieces and nephews. 

Donna received a teaching certificate from St. Cloud S. U. and taught elementary school in both Appleton and St. Cloud Minnesota as well as pre-K at Zion Lutheran church in Anoka Minnesota. Because of her love of music, she directed children's choirs in Appleton, St. Cloud, and Anoka and enjoyed singing in the Zion church choir, along with her husband Dave for more than 50 years. 

Services will be held on Monday, August 31, 2026 with a visitation from 10 AM - 11 AM followed by the Memorial Service at 11 AM at Zion Lutheran Church, 1601 S. 4th Ave, Anoka.
