Donald Higbee, age 96 of Anoka, formerly of Warren, Michigan, passed away on Tuesday, May 14, 2019 at Providence Care Center in Minneapolis.

Donald served in the United States Army during World War II.

In addition to his parents, Beeler and Lillian (Jenne) Higbee, Donald was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 60 years, Ruth Higbee; siblings, Beeler (Marge) Higbee, Elizabeth Higbee, Patricia Higbee, James (Ruth Ann) Higbee, Dean (Bernice) Higbee, and Dorothy (William) Maben.  He is survived by his daughter, Judy (David) Jones; grandchildren, David Jones, Jr., Linda (Justin) Edgerton, Kathy (Joseph) McElhose, Alex Jones, and Sarah Jones; great-grandchildren, Eliana, Asher, IlaPearl, Bradford, Clayton, Jacob, Gabriel, and Leo; also many nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.

Interment will take place in White Chapel Cemetery, Troy, Michigan.
