Dolores M. "Dolly" Rogers, age 98 of Coon Rapids, passed into the arms of our Heavenly Father, surrounded by her loving family, on Friday, January 11, 2019 at The Landings of Blaine.

Dolly was born in Minneapolis to Joseph and Alexandrine Laliberte on July 13, 1920, the third of six children.  She went on to marry Francis Rogers on November 30, 1939.  Together they raised six children and were married for 57 years.  In addition to her parents, Dolly was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Francis; daughters, Sharon Lewandowski and Susan Blackwell; son, John; siblings, Julian, Patricia Bochet, Lawrence and Alfred; and son-in-law, Brock Abrahamson.  She is survived by her children, Ronald (Shirley), Nancy Abrahamson, and Patricia Ybarra (Paul); 24 grandchildren, 43 great-grandchildren and 18 great-great-grandchildren; beloved brother, Arthur Laliberte (age 101); in-laws, Larry Lewandowski, Mark Blackwell, and Irene Rogers; also many other relatives and good friends.

A special thank you to the Allina Hospice teams and the staff of The Landings of Blaine for their tender loving care and friendship in Dolly's last months.  She had a lot of love in her heart and gave it freely.  She was our matriarch and the glue that held us all together.  We will do our best to honor her as we move forward, missing her every day.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, January 25, 2019 at the Church of the Epiphany, 1900 111th Avenue NW, Coon Rapids.  Visitation one hour prior to Mass at church (9:30 - 10:30 a.m.)  Private Interment Fort Snelling National Cemetery.

Memorials are preferred to the American Cancer Society or charity of the donor's choice.
