Debra Sue Jesser (Mason) passed away peacefully on Thursday, March 2, 2023. Debby was born March 11, 1957 in LaCrosse, Wisconsin and graduated from Onalaska High School in 1975. She moved to Minneapolis to attend school at Northwestern College. There, she met the love of her life, Keith Jesser. The two married on September 23, 1978, shortly thereafter purchasing a house in Blaine, Minnesota and later building their dream home in Andover, Minnesota. As a faithful follower of Jesus, Debby lived by His example every day. She diligently prayed for others and sought only to follow God's will. She gave her time to the Church and found lifelong friends in Faith. Debby joyfully brought many followers closer together and closer to God. Debby held several careers over the years. She worked in the home, caring for two active boys. She was also a filing clerk, a secretary, a bank teller, a volunteer, a preschool teacher's assistant, and eventually a successful Medicare insurance agent. While she won multiple sales awards in her insurance role, Debby's true joy came from helping countless seniors live more comfortably in retirement. She treated each client like family, and they loved her, bringing her flowers and hugging her when they saw her. Anyone that met Debby understood her deep passion for people. She fiercely loved her family and friends, caring for them in a way that was uniquely and unmistakably her. She cherished connections, always looking for an excuse to plan a party, a get-together, a gathering at the "lake place", a holiday event, or just a visit with someone in need. Debby held many hobbies that gave her joy. She loved to be creative, through decorating projects, crafting with the kids, and rubber stamping. She loved to explore, taking road trips with Keith, visiting the beautiful fall colors, and dreaming up new adventures for the family. She loved humor, always smiling and laughing, always ready for a one-liner from her boys. She loved children, through her days as a mother, as a preschool teacher, and later through her favorite hobby: being a Grandma.
