Debra M. Favro, age 63 of Cedar, passed away peacefully at home on Thursday, May 17, 2018, with her loving husband and son by her side.

Debra was born on January 30, 1955 in Little Falls, MN to George and Virginia Wimmer.  She grew up in Royalton, MN on her parents' farm.  She graduated from high school in Pierz, MN in 1973 and then joined the United States Army, serving in various places such as German and Africa.

Debra married Daniel Favro in 1976 in Santa Barbara, CA.  They were happily married for 41 years.  Debra devoted her life to helping others and was a nurse practitioner; she served in the nursing field for over 25 years.  Debra was an active member of St. Patrick's Catholic Church and she enjoyed gardening, reading, and making jewelry.

Debra was a loving wife and mother, and will be greatly missed.

In addition to her father, George Wimmer, Debra was preceded in death by her sister, Lisa Wimmer.  She is survived by her loving husband of 41 years, Daniel Edward Favro of Cedar, MN; son, Jesse Daniel Favro of St. Cloud, MN; mother, Virginia Schwinghammer; brothers, Robert (Peggy) Wimmer of Royalton, MN, Kenneth (Carol) Wimmer of Swanville, MN, Tim Wimmer of Royalton, MN, John (Lisa) Wimmer of Pierz, MN, and Daniel (Shanna) Wimmer of Pierz, MN; sisters, Jane (Curt) Swanson of Chippewa Falls, WI, Nancy (Dennis) Wheeler of Dayton, MN, Karen (Mark) DeVriendt of St. Cloud, MN; and Penny (JJ) Hohiesel of Little Falls, MN; also survived by many nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, May 23, 2018 at St. Patrick Catholic Church, 19921 Nightingale Street NW, Cedar.  Visitation one hour prior to Mass at church (9:00 - 10:00 a.m.)  Interment in St. Patrick Catholic Cemetery.
