Deanne Kay Klein Reiten, 80, passed away on Sunday, April 19, 2026 at Mercy Hospital in Coon Rapids, MN. Deanne was born January 17, 1946 in Ashland, WI to Alphonse and Inez (Johnson) Klein.

On February 25, 1967, Deanne married James Reiten, and they celebrated their 50th anniversary shortly before Jim's death in 2017. They made their home in Silver Bay, MN, where Deanne worked as a loan officer at North Shore Federal Credit Union. Her hobbies were gardening, quilting, baking, and singing in the local choir. In December 2024, Deanne moved to an assisted living facility in Ramsey, MN to be near her son Trevor and daughter-in-law Bobbie.

Deanne was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, and her siblings Carol Seemuth and Curtis Klein. She is survived by her son Trevor Reiten and his wife Bobbie, of Andover, MN. She is also survived by granddaughter Hannah Reisher and her husband Jon, of Fayetteville, NC, and grandson Hal Evans Nevels, of Andover, MN, as well as great grandchildren Otto and Willa Reisher. Her surviving siblings are Ione Klein, Grace Ruberg, and Sharon Weinke, all of Ashland, WI.

A memorial service will be held on a date to be determined later at Faith Lutheran Church in Mason, WI with a reception to follow at the church. Private inurnment will follow at the Mason Cemetery.
