Morton, Dean J. Formerly of St. Francis passed away at the age of 56 on July 2, 2020 after a brave 1 year battle with cancer. Dean was born November 15, 1963 at North Memorial Hospital to Clinton and Lucille Morton. He was the 7th of 8 children. Dean grew up on a farm 12 miles north of Anoka and went to St. Francis schools. He had a real knack for remembering names and dates and he was a lover of scary movies, fountain pop, burgers and fries, music and being with his family. The family would like to thank Dr. K. and the infusion staff at Minnesota Oncology. Dean considered them his friends. Dean was welcomed into heaven by his mother Lucille; father, Clinton; brothers, Paul and Daniel and brother-in-law Dean Heckenlaible. Survived by sisters, Cheryl Heckenlaible, Cindy Hagen and Ruth (Robert) Cramblitt; brothers, Charles Morton and Steven (Carla) Morton; step mother, Barbara Morton; numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and a large extended family. Private family services will be held.
