David S. Day 67 of Anoka, MN, formerly of Dubuque, Iowa passed away 4/12/22.

He was preceded in death by parents, Robert and Marjorie Day; brother, Robert Jr.; and father-in-law, Harold Keil.

David was a tile contractor, fisherman, hunter, animal control officer, Francophile, and a true blue Democrat. He loved food, rum and coke and French wine. He enjoyed debating but wanted to walk away friends. He valued the truth, science and above all fairness. His tenacity for life exceeded most everyone's expectations, but in the end couldn't overcome the obstacles placed in his way.

He is survived by wife, Janis; mother-in-law, Arlene Keil; brother, Tom (Jodi); sister, Nancy Blasberg (Gary); and sister-in-law, Barbara Day; brother-in-law, Dennis Keil (Carol); 3 nieces, 6 nephews, and 4 great nieces.
