Rev. David D. Buschow, age 84 of Brooklyn Park, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his family on Sunday, February 23, 2020.

David, the son of Alfred and Evelyn (Cook) Buschow was born in Wells, MN on December 3, 1935.  He grew up in in Wells, MN and graduated from high school in 1954.  David then attended North Central Bible College in Minneapolis, MN.  After graduating college, he married the love of his life, Karen (Larson) and together they began their ministry in Ellsworth, WI and he was later ordained with the Assemblies of God in 1961.  Through the years in ministry, David and Karen pastored churches in Ellsworth and Neenah, Wisconsin, Sauk Centre, Princeton, Shakopee, and Chisholm Minnesota.  In later years, David had a successful career as a hearing health specialist, where he continued his ministry to his clients by sharing Matthew 11:15 "He that hath ears to hear, let him hear."

In David's retirement years, he enjoyed working with stained glass, gardening, and selling 'junk' on eBay.  He also enjoyed serving in his church's recovery ministry.  He genuinely loved people and learning about their diverse backgrounds.  Anyone who knew him is blessed to have him in their lives.  We know he is in the presence of God and those who have gone before him.  Well done, good and faithful servant.

David is survived by his wife Karen of 60 years; his children, Robert Buschow and Ruth Ann (Steve) Malez; and his grandchildren Justin Buschow, Tyler Buschow and Rachael Malez.  He is also survived by his brother, Sherman Buschow; sister, Dawn Buschow; and many wonderful nieces, nephews, and life-long friends.

A Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, March 2, 2020 at Riverdale Church, 3210 Bunker Lake Boulevard NW, Andover.  Visitation one hour prior to the service at church (10:00 - 11:00 a.m.)  A Private Interment will take place in Morningside Memorial Gardens, Coon Rapids.
