Soland, Daniel Hage 75, died unexpectedly June 4, 2022, at his home in Ramsey Minnesota. He was born July 23, 1946, in Fargo North Dakota, the son of Hubert E and Mary L (Hage) Soland. Dan graduated from Hopkins High School , class of 1964. Following graduation, he served in the U.S. Marine Corp in the United States during the Vietnam War. After serving in the Marine Corp he married Caren Jean Sigfrid on Aug 23, 1969, and they started their life together in Hopkins Minnesota. Dan was a member of the Anoka Minnesota American Legion. He was an avid woodworker and also enjoyed fishing, hunting and photography. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Caren Jean (Sigrid) Soland. Dan was survived by his son Brett Soland and wife Robin, his daughter Gina Hennes and husband James. Six grandchildren, Bradley Soland, Catelynn Soland, Ryan Jacobson, Linnea Downing and husband Lynk, Levi Nguyen and Brynn Nguyen. Two great grandchildren, Fletcher Downing and Leo Downing. Five siblings, Terry Parker Finch, Deborah Abeln, Mary Tufte and husband Jim, Jon Soland and wife Kathy and Karen Portwood. Celebration of life to follow at a later date.
