Daniel P. "Coach" Murphy, age 59 of Zimmerman, passed away peacefully, surrounded by family, on Tuesday, May 28, 2019 at home.

In addition to his father, Herb, Dan was preceded in death by his former wife, Christine.  He is survived by his wife, Jill; children, Josh (Stephanie), Erin (Kyle) Thielsen, Justin, Annali, and Christian; grandchildren, Emilie, Ava, Daniel, Elijah, Gabriella, and Dominic; mother, Corrine; brothers, John (Sherry) and Nathan (Laura); sisters, Ann Murphy and Fayth (John) Brennan; also many nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.

A Funeral Service will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Monday, June 3, 2019 at Thurston-Lindberg Funeral Home, 2005 Branch Avenue, Anoka.  Visitation one hour prior to the service (6:00 - 7:00 p.m.)  Interment will take place at Lakeview Cemetery, Nowthen.
