Obituary

Danelle Brovick-Docauer of Coon Rapids beloved wife and loving mother of 3 wonderful children passed away unexpectedly at home Sunday November 22nd, 2020 at the age of 51.
Danelle was born on 5/16/1969 in Marshfield WI to Louis & Elnora Grottke.  She lived on the family farm with her parents and sister Donna for the first few years of her life until they moved into the city of Marshfield, where she lived on Park St until she graduated high school.  After graduation she moved on to Eau Claire to attend school and graduated with a 2-year degree in retail merchandising.  Danelle would tell many stories of the great times had during her years spent in Eau Claire living on Water street with some of who are still her best friends.  From Eau Claire she moved around to a couple different areas until settling in Coon Rapids, MN where she spent the last 25+ years of her life.  In 2003 her working career shifted to the Real Estate industry where she enjoyed helping people navigate the process of buying/selling homes, and helping sellers get their homes ready for sale by showing her knack and love for design and staging. Danelle and husband Paul were partners in their business right up until her passing.
Danelle and Paul married in 2005 having recently celebrated their 15th wedding Anniversary.  Danelle was the most loving, caring, generous, empathetic, affectionate, compassionate, and amazingly awesome Mom that any child could ever ask for.  She and Paul raised 3 wonderfully amazing kids Dylan (24), Alex (22), & Jorden (25) in Coon Rapids.  Danelle rarely if ever missed a game, or an important event throughout all of her children's lives, always being there for them, and always beaming with pride watching her kids do anything they decided to do.  Mom always made sure they knew they were the most important people in her life.  Danelle was also loved by many of our children's friends, she always did her best to make sure everyone felt welcome in our home like they were part of the family, (which they are) it's one of the many things we will always admire about our Danelle.
Danelle lived for spending time with family, and great friends whether it be traveling to a new place, finding a great deal at a garage sale, spending time at the sand bar floating on her favorite floatie, camping at our seasonal campsite, or even watching the Packers win once in a while. She enjoyed every day fully as long as she was able to be surrounded by the love of all the people closest to her.  Danelle always showed love to everyone she came in contact with in her life with a huge smile, she was always putting friends and new friends at ease with a simple conversation or a listening ear.  Danelle had a knack for making people feel valued and like they were the only thing that mattered at that moment.  It's why so many loved her in return.  She was the brightest light and will be so deeply missed by us.
Danelle was preceded in death by her father Louis Grottke, and her dog Scuffy.  She is survived by her beloved husband Paul, sons Dylan Brovick, Alex Brovick, daughter Jorden Docauer (Keith), Mother Elnora Grottke, sister Donna Angel (Frank) as well as many cousins, in-laws, niece, and nephews.
A wake will be held on Friday 12/04/20 from 5-8pm at Thurston-Deshaw Funeral home, 13817 Jay Street NW, Andover, MN.
We have decided to hold off on a funeral service until a later date due to Covid restrictions.  We will hold a service and a celebration of her life when the time is right.  We want to be able to give Danelle the goodbye she deserves with everyone who loved her with no restrictions.  We hope you understand as this is a really tough decision and situation for all of us, but mostly unfair to Danelle.
**per CDC guidelines social distancing and masks will be required at the funeral home, no exceptions. The funeral home is only allowed 50 ppl in the building at one time (which includes immediate family). We will do our best to make sure everyone who attends will be able to see Danelle, the family, and say their goodbyes.
