IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Connor Jacob
Waage
July 22, 2003 – July 5, 2020
With deepest sorrow, we announce that Connor Jacob Waage, age 16, our beloved son, brother, family member and friend passed away on Sunday, July 5th, 2020 in an automobile accident.
Those that knew Connor, even just a little, lost a huge shining light in their lives.
Connor will be missed everyday by his parents, Brian and Kara, his sister Alyssa Oquist, his brother Jack, family dogs Chester and Maverick, his Grandparents Mickey & Karlene Molloy, Grandmother, Sue Waage, his niece Brynlee & nephews Kaeden, Kooper and Jase, his loving aunts, uncles, cousins and his many amazing friends.
We know Connor is now with his Grandpa Dave Waage Sr. and is loved here on earth as well as in heaven.
Connor was a senior at St Francis High School, Class of 2021 and a member of the trap and football teams.
He was looking forward to getting back to strength training and stoked to get back on the football field.
Connor planned to join the Navy on his 17th birthday, July 22...he was looking to get into Specials Forces
with thoughts of becoming an Electrician.
When he was little, he spent a lot of time at his aunt and uncle's dairy farm in Finlayson. He loved hanging out in the barn, helping with chores and Grandpa Mickey's tractor rides.
He enjoyed annual family vacations to Mexico, Florida and Wisconsin Dells with his parents and his younger brother Jack. He and Jack enjoying playing catch with the football in the pool, getting on the boogie boards and playing in the ocean.
Connor loved anything to do with the outdoors...their guys fishing trips to Canada where he loved listening to older country music, duck hunting trips in Swatara, mule deer hunting in Montana with his dad and cousins where he shot his first mule deer and annual camping trips to Country Camping and Two Harbors.
He and his mom enjoyed chats on the porch about what he wanted to do after high school. He was so easy going,
fun loving and his mom didn't have to ask him twice to do anything yet he loved to tease her while giving off that mischievous grin.
He enjoyed bonfires with friends, rope swinging, driving his moms Jeep, playing the music so loud he blew the speakers...really anything he could do to hang out with his friends.
Connor was always on the go, wanted to be doing something at all times even if it was just running errands and constantly snapping or texting his friends looking for something to do. He would be up, showered and dressed ready to go even if he had not where to go at the time.
His friends would say...Connor was there to listen, he was the most caring and kind hearted, always put a smile
on your face, a simple wave could make your day and he never failed to make you laugh.
He gave off the most caring vibe.
He lit up a room.
He was a big brother to many and made everyone feel included.
He had so many different groups of friends, very accepting of all people, free spirited, and had an overall love for life.
We LOVE and MISS you so much Connor, aka Knuckles
