Obituary

Connie Jean Bullen, age 49 of Andover, passed away and met Jesus peacefully, surrounded by family, on Saturday, May 30, 2020 after losing her fight with aggressive metastatic lung cancer

Connie was born on November 12, 1970 in Coon Rapids to Sev and Bonnita Wanous.  She was immediately loved by her two older sisters, Bobbi and Kari.  Later, she welcomed two younger siblings, Christy and Sev Jr.   In 1994, Connie married Shawn Bullen, and together they had one daughter, Dakotah.  Connie chose to stay-at-home and raise her daughter.  Being a mother was Connies greatest joy she was incredibly a proud of Dakotah and all she did.  After Dakotah went to school, Connie dedicated her life to helping others and caring for her nieces and nephews.  She also took great pride in helping her grandmother, Josephine.  Over the last five years, Connie enjoyed living with her parents; she loved watching the deer, turkey, coyotes, and burning the brush.

Connie loved to fish, agate hunt, metal detect, and be outside.  She enjoyed tracking storms, rooting on the Vikings, and snuggling with her cat, Tank.  Connie loved watching "Friends" with Dakotah and traveling around the country to watch Dakotah race track-and-field and marathons.  She loved spending quality time with her loved ones.  Connie also enjoyed politics and was always up for a good debate.
As a dedicated Christian, Connie let her faith guide her.  She was ready to go to heaven.  Connie was incredibly generous and always put the needs of others before her own.  She was kind to everyone and would always say, "enjoy the things you love about a person and let the rest go."
In addition to two unborn children, Connie was preceded in death by her grandparents, Robert and Zelda Feigum, and Severin and Josephine Wanous; aunt, Paulette Carpentier; and uncle, Darwin Wanous.  She is survived by her daughter, Dakotah Lindwurm and favorite son-in-law, Nicholas Lindwurm; former husband, Shawn Bullen; parents, Sev and Bonnita Wanous; siblings, Bobbi (Steve Lantz) Westerlund, Kari (Larry) Revier, Christy Packard, and Sev Wanous Jr.; also many aunts, uncles, cousins, and other family and friends.
