Clarence L. Lyrek, age 79, passed unexpectedly and went to meet his eternal Father on June 19, 2011. Born and raised in Delano, married and raised two daughters in St. Paul. Clarence worked over 40 years at Andrew's Knitting and resided the last year of is life at Champlin Shores where he was embraced by the amazing staff and residents. Devoted husband to Elaine. Loving father to Corinne (Roger) Olson and Rhonda (Jeff) Green. Grandfather to Lindsey and Brandon Olson and Cassandra Green. Also survived by siblings, Eleanor, Bernice, Steve, Pat, Jerry, and John. Preceded in death by his parents, Peter and Genevieve; brother, Edward; and sister, Rosie. Funeral service Thursday, 11 AM at Thurston-Lindberg Funeral Home, West Main St. & Branch Ave., Anoka. Visitation 1 hour prior to service. Private interment Sunsest Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers memorial preferred.
