Kinnunen, Clara L. age 81 of Andover, was born March 10, 1937 and went to be with the Lord on November 21, 2018.

She was born in Cloquet, MN and was raised in Brainerd, MN. Clara and Virgil were married in 1957 and were married for 51 years. Clara and Virgil lived and raised their family in Moundsview, MN where Clara worked for many years at Minnesota Fabrics where she was able to blend her love and talent of sewing and her career. Virgil and Clara then moved to Menahga, MN in 1997, where she faithfully attended church at Assumption of Our Lady Catholic Church, and were a integral part of the community. Clara moved to Farmstead in 2016 to be closer to her children.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Virgil Kinnunen; parents, Theodore and Hazel; sister, sr Laura; brothers, Donald and Steven; sisters-in-law, Gerry, Frances and Elna.

Clara is survived by her children, Cathy, Marie (Rick), Leslie, Kevin (Lisa); 17 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; brother, Ted.

Clara loved her family , her grandchildren and her great-grandchildren. They always brought a smile to her face and laughter to her life. There was nothing she enjoyed more than spending time with them. Clara will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her. She was a wonderful Mom, Grandma and Great-grandma. We would like to thank the people at both Farmstead and Allina Hospice for the care and concern you always showed our Mom.

A Celebration of Clara's life will be held Friday (12/21/2018) at 12 noon with a visitation one hour prior at:
