White, Christina Virginia (nee Cooper) age 92, of Anoka. Christina was born Dec. 20, 1919 to Anthony and Catherine Cooper of Springfield, IL. In Springfield she attended St. Peter & Paul School, class of '33, Lamphier High School, class of '37 where she was the first graduate of that school, and St. John's College of Nursing, class of 1945. Later in life she obtained a BS degree from the College of St. Francis, Joliet, IL in 1981. She married John F. White DDS in 1946 and raised seven children in Pipestone, St. Peter and Anoka, MN. She was past President of the Minnesota Southern District Women's Dental Auxiliary. She is preceded in death by parents, husband, son William, daughter-in-law Lyle-Ann White, son-in-law, Dennis DeGrote. Survived by children, John "Steve" (Roberta), Mary Doberstein, Kathy DeGrote, James, Terri White, David (Krista); 11 grandchildren; and 2 great -grandchildren. Mass of Christian Burial Monday 11 AM, with reviewal one hour prior at St. Stephen's Catholic Church, 525 Jackson St., Anoka. Visitation Sunday 4-7 PM. with a 6:30 PM Prayer Service at Thurston-Lindberg Funeral Home, W. Main St. & Branch Ave., Anoka. Private Interment Calvary Cemetery, Springfield, IL.
