Groebner, Charles J. Jr. "Chuck", age 56, of Ramsey. Chuck was a devoted man who loved his family and cherished all the times they had spent together. He was very proud of his sons and the men they have become. One of his favorite pastimes was pheasant hunting trips with his boys and brothers. Chuck was blessed with two grandsons, born four days apart in the summer of 2014. Oh what a joy that was for him and all the time he spent with them. He loved his fiancee Teri of 18 1/2 years with all his heart and they enjoyed many vacations together. Their favorite trip was spent in Maui. Four years ago he made the decision to get a four legged friend who he named Greta (his dog). She brought him much joy in his final years. When Chuck made a friend, he had a friend for life. Especially Scott Starner, his best friend of 40 years. They shared many memories together. Whether golfing, snowmobiling or a game of cards, they were always up for some friendly competition. Chuck worked as a carpenter and foreman for Carlson Levine (general contractor) for 30 years. He worked hard every day to provide for his family with unquestionable honesty and integrity. There was no doubt Chuck was rooted in his beliefs and passionate about his country and politics. We will miss him. Preceded in death by his parents, Charles Sr. & Arlene. Survived by fiancee, Teri Butler; sons, Eric (Holly) and Tony (Sarah); grandsons, Maxwell and Silsa; siblings, Steve (Kay), Dianne (Tony) Novak, Tim (Jody), Joe (Barb) and Jane Covart; nieces & nephews, and faithful companion Greta.
