Blesi, Charles William age 90 died August 20, 2017 at his home in Andover, MN. He is preceded in death by his wife of 52 years, Elverna Blesi, and survived by his sons, Peter (Lynda) Blesi and Paul (Elizabeth) Blesi; grandchildren, Jennifer Blesi, Nicholas Blesi, Todd (Nicole) Schaufenbuel, Molly (John) Mathison; great-grandchildren, John, Sara & Kathryn Mathison and  Navy & Gabriella Schaufenbuel. Charles joined the Navy when he was 16 years old. He served four years in World War II as a Navy Veteran in the Pacific Theater and was called back during the Korean War, where he served two years. Charles worked for NSP Company for 39 years and was retired for 30 years. He enjoyed visiting with friends, telling stories, gardening, fishing, hunting and traveling. He never went by a lake that he didn't want to fish, fish feared him. A Memorial Service will be held at 1 PM on Friday, Sept 8, 2017 at Thurston-Lindberg Funeral Home, 2005 Branch Ave, Anoka with a visitation one hour prior at the funeral home.
