IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Cecilia
Engelhaupt
October 29, 1937 – August 16, 2022
Cecilia Engelhaupt (Grosz) was born on the family farm in Hauge, ND on October 29, 1937, and passed away at her home in St. Cloud, MN on August 16, 2022, at the age of 84.
Cecilia was devoted to her family, and she enjoyed spending time with her kids and grandkids. Her fondest moments were when she and her husband, Bernard, would dance the Polka and Waltz; she loved the fact that she taught Bernard how to dance. They never danced as two; they were one person together on the floor, as well as in life.
Holidays were very special to Cecilia, and she always made sure everyone had a wonderful time. She baked for days and cooked all day so that everyone could have an enjoyable feast. She was well known by many for the wonderful pies she used to bake for the Viking Village. To this day, many people from her past, as well as now, talk about her with the most heartfelt memories.
As a wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend, Cecilia was so very well loved, and she will be truly missed.
Cecilia was preceded in death by her Husband, Bernard Engelhaupt; Parents, Joseph and Christina Grosz; Sisters, Lizzy, Maggie, Theresa, Gladys, and Eva; Brothers, Leo, Benny, and Frank; Granddaughter, Tanya Pederson; Great-Granddaughter, Averie Pederson; and Son-in-Law, Wayne Bouley.
