Catherine "Cozy" (Cole) Bliss passed away peacefully on May 26, surrounded by family and friends. Cathy fought cancer hard for 2 years to be with her family and we appreciated every additional day we had with her.

Cathy was preceded in death by her parents, Ralph and Agnes Cole, her brothers Christopher and Steven, and her friend and previous spouse Raymond.

Cathy raised 3 children: Cheryl Bliss-George, David Bliss (Ann Budig), and Nicole Bliss (Brian Thole). She had a very special bond with her grandchildren, Chloe Bliss, Mathew Bliss, and Eli Bliss (Jillian S.). Some of her last moments were on a trip that the family took to Florida, where she was able to walk on the beach one last time.

Cathy was a hard worker but loved to have fun. She enjoyed being with her family and friends. She was a long-time employee at the Champlin grocery, where many came to know and love her; she was welcoming and always had a smile on her face when she greeted everyone. Cathy made an impact on many and will truly be missed.

A Memorial Service for Cathy will be held on Wednesday, June 14th at Thurston-Lindberg Funeral Home. The service will begin at 11:00 am with a visitation one hour prior.
