Carol Ann Quire age 77 of Ramsey passed away on September 9, 2023. Carol enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, she had a love for flowers, music, traveling and had a sense for adventure. Carol was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt and friend. She worked as a private caregiver for 20 years and was soft, gentle and kind with a healing touch to the people around her.

Carol was preceded in death by her parents, Cornelius and Marjorie DeValk; brother, Gary DeValk; nephew, Johnny Bertelsen and                   great-niece, Emily Lewandowski . She is survived by her husband, Darrell; daughters, Michelle (Kyle) Heltemes, Angela (Randy) Kraft, Marlene Minkler (Jeremy Lund); step-son, James (Kristina) Quire; grandchildren, Heather, Shawn, Cameron, Noah, Amber, Ryan, Eli, Lujien; great-grandson, Mason; siblings, Judy (Bill) Lewandowski, Sue (John) Bibeau, David DeValk, Cheri Ayd (Jeff Jordan); sister-in-law, Sheila and many other loving relatives and friends.

A visitation for Carol will be on Thursday (9/14/2023) from 5-8 pm with a prayer service at 6 pm at Thurston-DeShaw Funeral Home, 13817 Jay St. NW. A Mass of Christian Burial will be on Friday (9/15/2023) at 11 AM with a visitation one-hour prior at St. Stephen's Catholic Church, 525 Jackson St. Anoka. Interment will be St. Thomas the Apostle Cemetery in Corcoran, MN.
