Bowman, Carol M. age 87 of Brooklyn Center. She is a retired Food Service Supervisor for the Brooklyn Center School District. Carol was a longtime member of Redeemer Lutheran Church in Fridley.  She enjoyed puzzles, watching The Office, Shark Tank, & Hoarders.  Lunches with her girlfriends, flowers in her yard, and visits from family, especially if they brought Jin's Chow Mein.  She is preceded in death by loving husband of 52 years, James; sisters, Barbara Wroge and Janet DeShaw; daughter-in-law, Kathy.  Survived by sons, Mark (Maureen), Thad (Paula), and Scot; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other loving family and friends.  Funeral service 11 AM Monday (5/17/2021) at Redeemer Lutheran Church, 61 Mississippi Street NE, Fridley.  Visitation Sunday, 3-6 PM at Thurston-Lindberg Funeral Home, 2005 Branch Ave., Anoka.  Private interment, Fort Snelling National Cemetery.  Memorials preferred to Redeemer Lutheran Church.  Arrangements entrusted to Thurston-Lindberg Funeral Home, Anoka, 763-421-0220
