Carl E. Woods, Jr., age 70 of Anoka, passed away on Saturday, July 27, 2019 at home.

Carl will forever be remembered as a very kind, gentle, and generous man who would give the shirt off his back for anyone in need.  He always made himself available to assist others, and he was a true family man.  Carl enjoyed going out to eat, especially to Ricky's Embers in Fridley, where his love for strawberries earned him his own order button for "Carl Berries."

In addition to his parents, Carl Sr. and Helen (Felgenhauer) Woods, Carl was preceded in death by his brother, Woodrow Keith Richardson; and nephew, Ian.  He is survived by his sons, Matthew (Amber) Beaver, Clifton Woods, and Corey (Hilary) Woods; grandchildren, Alyssa and Brayden; sister, Donna Richardson; also many nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.

Celebration of Life Services will be held at a later date.
