Turnquist, Bryan J. Age 35 of Anoka, MN, fondly known as Burns by family and friends. Bryan returned to the comfort of his childhood home and peace is no longer delayed as his work here on earth is done. He loved all things Minnesota: fishing, hockey and golf. With a heart of gold and the ability to forgive quickly, he often navigated dark times with a gentle smile from the corner of his mouth. Bryan received unconditional love from family and friends. He is preceded in death by grandparents Lauren and Rosella Turnquist & James Urban. Survived by his loving and supportive parents, Ray and Carol Turnquist; sister, Anna (Joel) Thomson; grandmother, Betty Urban; nephew, Jack; nieces, Lucy, Ellse, and Margo; along with extended family and many dear friends. Memorial services Sunday October 6, 2019 at 3pm at Anoka United Methodist Church, 850 South Street, Anoka. Visitation 1 hour prior to services at the church. Memorials preferred to the Addiction Discovery Research Fund at the University of Minnesota.
