O'Connor, Edward B. "Bruce" age 89 of Anoka. Bruce was born Jan 21, 1933 in Goldfield, Iowa and died May 11, 2022 in Brooklyn Center.  Bruce graduated from St Francis High School in 1953 and served in the Army during the Korean Conflict spending most of his time in Germany.  After his service, he spent his entire working career at Federal Hoffman in Anoka retiring after 45+ years.   Bruce enjoyed fishing and camping with his children and helped teach them cribbage.  He was an avid hunter who also enjoyed trap-shooting, golf, auctions, and always stopped for a garage sale.   Bruce is survived by his (3) children Kathy Bass, Karen O'Connor, and Dan O'Connor; his (4) Grandchildren Breanna (Austin) Arenz, Brett Bass, Hailey O'Connor, and Chase O'Connor; 2 of his 6 siblings Donald (Heidi) O'Connor and Barb McNeal; and his friend and ex-wife Pat O'Connor.  He is preceded in death by his parents John and Vera O'Connor and siblings Les O'Connor, Wally O'Connor, Carol Forster, and Doug O'Connor.  He will be missed by many other friends and family.  Please join us for a celebration of life at Thurston-Lindberg Funeral home in Anoka, MN at 2005 Branch Ave on June 9th.  Visitation begins at 10am with services at 11am.  Luncheon provided at American Legion following service. Bruce will be laid to rest at Ft. Snelling National Cemetery.
