IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Brian Thomas
Reichert
January 13, 1974 – September 14, 2022
Reichert, Brian Thomas, age 48, of Ramsey passed away at home on September 14, 2022. Brian was born in Fargo on January 13, 1974, but grew up in Andover and graduated from St. Francis High School in 1992.
Brian was a Retired 82 nd Airborne Sergeant and was a 20+ year member at St. Francis American Legion Post 622. He was also active throughout the years at the Princeton, Champlin, and Fridley Posts. He served as Commander at Post 622 for multiple years and was active in the Color Guard. He represented Post 622 at many activities through the 10th District of the Minnesota American Legion. He was at the forefront of Legion activities, including starting a Legion Riders membership at the Post, awarding scholarships to St. Francis students, coordinating and participating in other functions/flag ceremonies at homecoming games, remembrances and renovations.
He loved his family and friends, first and foremost, as well as fishing, hunting, cooking for just about everyone and if you needed your driveway plowed, he was your man. Brian was known to be a man who always led with his head; whether it be to execute a plan or tripping over his boot laces. When Brian met Cassie at the Legion, he handed her a business card and his first line was "Hi, my name is Brian Reichert and I am a sure thing!" Brian's quick comments were short and to the point. Some you wanted to hear, some you needed to hear and some he should have just kept to himself. He was pretty known for saying "Don't tell me what to do".
Brian is preceded in death by his parents Thomas and Penelope Reichert. He is survived by his wife Cassandra Reichert; children, Heaven (Garrett) Muehlhauser, Michael (fiancé Rachel) Myers; grandchildren, Carson, Baby Boy on the way Muehlhauser, Maizlee, Kaison, Lexi and Nolin; sister, Jodi (Ryan) Wood; brother, Benjamin (Courtney) Reichert; nephews, Riley, Jace, Thomas and Samuel; pets, Buzz and Tunes as well as many other family and friends.
