Brent David Simonson, age 41 of Blaine, passed away on Friday, August 16, 2019 at home.

Brent was born in Minneapolis, Minnesota on August 6, 1978 to David and Margaret (Mulroy) Simonson.  He was a graduate of Blaine High School and went on to become an electrician by furthering his education at Anoka-Ramsey Community College.  Brent's family was extremely proud of him as he worked a full-time job while attending college.  He was known for being a "night owl," often staying up late and not being an early riser!  Brent's interests included deer hunting and listening to many types of music, especially '90s Rock.  Most of all, Brent cherished time spent with his daughter, Samantha, especially attending Minnesota Twins baseball games.  He was a great person who will be missed by many.

Brent was preceded in death by his father, David.  He is survived by his daughter, Samantha; mother, Margaret; brother, Chad (Teri); niece, Hailey; and many friends.

A Memorial Service will be held at 12 Noon on Friday, August 23, 2019 at Thurston-DeShaw Funeral Home, 13817 Jay Street NW, Andover.  Visitation one hour prior the service (11:00 a.m. - 12 Noon.)  Private Interment.
