Swing, Bonnie Mary age 93, of Coon Rapids, MN, passed away April 5, 2022 at the age of 93 at Benedictine Health Center at Innsbruck in New Brighton, MN. Bonnie was preceded in death by her mom, Selma in 2001 and dad, Orlo in 1929 and husband, Wayne in 2016. She is survived by her daughter, Sally and son-in-law, Tom Talle, family members and many friends. Bonnie loved flowers, traveling/camping, doing counted cross- stitch, making lefse and anything related to baking. Bonnie graduated from St. Francis High School, St. Francis, MN in 1945 and married Wayne Swing in 1948. She began her career in the Anoka-Hennepin School District as secretary to the Anoka Senior principal(s) in 1952, retiring in 1987. She and Wayne spent 21 enjoyable retirement winters in Harlingen, Texas. Funeral services will be held April 13 at the United Methodist Church of Anoka, 850 South Street, Anoka at 11:00 a.m. with visitation at 10:00 a.m. Gratitude is given for the compassionate care provided by the Benedictine Health Center at Innsbruck staff.
