Bonnie Lavonne Grandell (nee Erickson) age 91, of Rosemount, MN., passed away peacefully at home on November 20, 2023.

Bonnie was born January 9, 1932 in Duluth, MN, to Adolph and Edna Erickson. She is preceded in death by her husband Kenneth Grandell Sr, and grandson Kenneth Grandell III.

She is survived by six children: Kenneth Jr. (Char), Kathleen (Jeff) Sharbono, Kevin (LuAnn), Jeffrey, Kameron (Lori), and Kirk (Lynn).

Bonnie was very proud of her (19) Grandchildren: Kenneth III, Christopher (Caitlin), Kyle, Charlie, Andrea (Shane), Jessica (Chad), Jason (Annie), Jonathon (Katie), Jaclyn (Jerry), Mackenzie (Luke), Justin (Rebecca), Joseph, Jacob (Megan), Maria, Peter (Jessica), Angela (Nehemiah), Sarah (Joshua), Kirby (Meagan), and Karley. She was Great-Grandmother to (24), with one "on the way", and Great-Great-Grandmother to (1), with another "on the way".

Bonnie loved and was very proud of her many loving sisters and brothers, along with their families.

She attended Proctor High School. She worked for many years as a receptionist for various clinics in the Twin Cities. Her retirement years were spent in Arizona before returning to Minnesota   fulltime several years ago. She enjoyed going for walks, and spending time with her large family.

We would like to extend our love and heartfelt thanks to Kathi, Jeff, and Joe Sharbono for the amazing care you provided Mom over the past several years. The love and comfort you gave was simply amazing. We hope you know how appreciative and fortunate we've been knowing Mom was in your caring hands. What an absolute blessing that was...THANK YOU!

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made out to Toys for Tots.

A Funeral for Bonnie will be held on Monday, November 27, 2023, at Thurston-DeShaw Funeral Home in Andover. The Funeral will begin at 11:00am, with a Visitation beginning one hour prior at 10:00am.
