IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Beverly Dianne
Stroh
October 2, 1944 – May 23, 2017
On May 7, 1962 Bev married the love of her life, Steven Stroh. They spent 20 years traveling the world from duty station to duty station, as Steve was a career Navy man. On September 23, 1963 , their son Christopher Earl was born in Guantanamo Bay Cuba, and on April 20, 1967, their daughter Denise Rena was born in Coos Bay Oregon. Bev went back to school in 1973 and received her high school diploma at Shape Belgium. In 1977, she received her nursing certificate from Maine Technical College. The family moved to Anoka, MN in January, 1978, where she worked as a nurse from 1978 thru 2012, when she finally fully retired from AMC Coon Rapids. Beverly had many hobbies, especially embroidery crocheting, cooking, flower gardening, golfing, bible study, and most of all spoiling her grand babies. She loved her family, friends, and job, but most of all she loved her Lord. Beverly's walk with cancer for 9-plus years was a blessing as she knew Jesus was walking with and caring for her in the tough times. She always took the time to witness the Lord and gave hope to other cancer patients. Beverly said there is only one way to live in this world; trust God for everything, every need and every thought. He will always be there to lead; all you have to do is follow.
Beverly was preceded in death by her mother, Vera; and sister, Peggy. She is survived by her loving husband of 55 years, Steven; son, Chris, living in Champlin MN; daughter Denise, who lives in Norlina, NC with her husband Richard. Beverly also has 3 granddaughters, Teresa Salo, from Goldsboro NC, Vanessa Beasley and her husband Scott, from Seven Springs, NC, and Stephanie Figard and her husband James, from Powhatan, VA; 4 wonderful great-grandsons, Josiah, Cameron, Caleb, and Lucas; 2 beautiful great-granddaughters, Paiton and Charleigh; and sister, Marcella Roush (Louie).Visits: 1
