Obituary

Perrin Burtness, Beverly A. age 94, of Anoka, passed away on Thursday, January 4, 2024. She led a rich life raising a large family, being part of the Knight's of Columbus Women's Auxiliary, a key member in Community Concerts and a member of St. Stephen's Choir. Bev worked as a Health Para for 19 years at Washington Elementary School and enjoyed it greatly. She was also part owner of Frames & Stitches. In retirement she volunteered with Bob for Meals on Wheels and at Guardian Angels where they lived for thirteen years. Preceded in death by husbands John E. Perrin and Robert E. Burtness, parents David M. & Luella M. (Clancy) Felix and grandson Tommy J. Gubbin. Survived by children John (Mary) Perrin & children John, David, Ryan & Amy; Cindy (Gary) Johnson & children Chris & Nick; Jeannie (Doug) Gubbin & son Dana; Julie (Jeff) Mund & children Stephanie, Alissa & Jacob; Theresa "Red" Arndt & children Bryan, Nikki & Trevor; Annette (Tom) Hiltz & children Norma, Katie & David; Ray Perrin & son Chad and step- daughter Morgan; Paul (Jerri) Perrin & daughter Stephanie; Helen (Steven) Brack & step-son Nick; brother Dana (Waldeane) Felix and 24 great- grandchildren. Mass of Christian Burial Friday, January 19, 2024, at 11am at St. Stephen's Catholic Church, 525 Jackson Street, Anoka, with visitation one hour prior to Mass at the Church.  A Knight's of Columbus Rosary will be said at 9:30 am in the main church prior to the visitation. Private interment Calvary Cemetery, Anoka. Memorials preferred to The Parkinson's Foundation, 200 SE 1st Street, Suite 800, Miami, FL 33131 or to the American Stroke Foundation, 7272 Greenville Avenue, Dallas, TX 75231 or online for either. Her family wishes to thank the aides at Elk River Senior Living, the staff at Mercy Hospital, the staff at St. Croix Hospice for their gentle care and a special thanks to Donna at Ark on the River for her wonderful hospice home.
