IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Beverly Anne
Erickson
March 30, 1936 – February 28, 2025
Beverly Erickson (MoMo), 88, of Roseville, MN, gained her wings on February 28, 2025.
She was born on March 30, 1936, to her loving parents, Harold and Elsa Morgan.
MoMo was a smart, sassy, classy, and wise lady who lived a full and rich life. She held many interesting jobs throughout her career, several in the travel and service industries. She took an early retirement from the University of Minnesota in the late '80s. She believed that you should work to live, not live to work.
Her love of travel was evident in her many trips across the globe with friends and family. She instilled that sense of adventure in her children and grandchildren. She valued experiences over material things, and the subtle lessons she taught through the way she lived will be passed down for generations.
One of MoMo's greatest attributes was her ability to talk to people. She offered great advice (sometimes unsolicited), and she was never one to mince words. As she grew older, she decided, to hell with it, and said and did whatever she wanted—her family loved her all the more for it.
She loved her family deeply. Visits from her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren were the highlights of her days. They laughed together, played together, and teased each other relentlessly. Sarcasm was a skill she made sure to pass down to them all.
Beverly had the best lifelong friends. They were there for each other in times of sorrow, frustration, crosswords, and, of course, adventure.
She is survived by her daughter, Paula (Gary) Anderson, and sons, Keith (Lila Cleminshaw) Erickson and Curt (Sandi Stutesman) Erickson; grandchildren, Brooke Anderson, Ashley Anderson, Adam (Jenny) Erickson, and Kenny (Julie LaMarr) Erickson; great-grandchildren, Austin, Ari, Afton, Hailey, Finley, Nolan, and Kelsie; her brother, Joel (Rosie) Morgan; and many nieces and nephews.
The family would also like to recognize and thank Bev's good friend, Jo, for all she has done, especially over these last few years.
Beverly did not want a funeral—she wanted a party. Please join us at Acapulco Restaurant in Andover, 13753 Ibis Street, NW on June 14, 2025 from 11 am until 2 pm. MoMo loved her time in Mexico so please feel free to wear your sundresses, shorts and flip flops! Lunch will be provided with a cash bar available. There will be a short program at 11:30 am.
