Bass, Bernard N. "Bernie" age 89, of Anoka, passed away peacefully 1/20/2018. Bernie served in the Army during the Korean War and worked for Federal Cartridge for 34 years. Preceded in death by his brothers, Louis, John and Tony; and sister, Rosemary. He is survived by his wife of 64 years, Sarah Annabelle; children, Wayne (Cheryl), Kevin, Linda (Ken) Darula, Pam (Rick) Bach, Janet Gilmore, Lori (Stuart) Vincent; many grand children, and 1 great-grandson; sisters, Mary and Agnes; along with many other family and friends. Visitation will be held Wednesday from 5-8 PM at Thurston-Lindberg Funeral Home, 2005 Branch Ave, Anoka. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Thursday (1/25/2018) at 10:30 AM, with one hour visitation prior to the Mass at The Church of the Epiphany, 1900 111th Ave NW, Coon Rapids.
