Soucy, Barbara Jo, "Barb" age 81 of Monticello. Barb discovered early on that her calling was connecting with people. She turned that gift into a career as a hairstylist, transforming not just appearances but relationships and lives. Her salon chair was more than a place for haircuts, it was a place of stories, laughter and friendship. Barb had a natural way of making everyone feel special with her love and positivity, just being around her brightened your day. We will forever cherish the memories of our beautiful Barbie Jo.  Preceded in death by husband Charles and parents Harold & Mary Ivarson. Survived by son Bret (Carrie) Soucy and daughter Lisa (Andrew) Sawatzke, grandchildren Joe & Ava Soucy and Carson, Wyatt, Drew & Dane Sawatzke, great-granddaughter Ivy, brother Jeff (Henri) Ivarson, nieces and nephews. A Celebration of Life will be held on Thursday, October 23, 2025 at 11 am with visitation one hour prior at Thurston-Lindberg Funeral Home, 2005 Branch Avenue, Anoka.
