Dahl, Arthur Roy age 75 of Andover, passed away peacefully in his sleep at home on Easter Sunday. He was born May 16, 1933 in St. Peter, Minnesota to Anton and Helen Dahl. He was a retiree of the Minneapolis Star Tribune newspaper, retiring after 37 years. Arthur was a long time resident of Andover and was known for his love of fishing, organ music, tinkering with electronics and a garage sale addict. He was preceded in death by parents, Anton and Helen Dahl; son, James Dahl; brothers, George Dahl and Lester Dahl; parents-in-law, Charles and Helen Krueger. He is survived by his wife of 36 years, Carol Lorraine Dahl; daughter, Kathleen Zlotkowski; sons, Ronald Dahl, Raymond Dahl, Gary Dahl, Tom Dahl; step-daughters, Gwendolyn (Brian) Lappin, Laurie (Dennis) Millington; grandchildren, Kara Dahl, April (Sean) Paddock, Adam LaBarr, Jessica Humphrey, Rebecca Schattschneider, Jennifer Dahl, Stacey Dahl, Jesse James Dahl, Gary Dahl Jr., Arthur Dahl Jr; step-grandchildren, Jonathan Millington, Justin Lappin, Jeremy Millington, Kyla Millington; 20 great-grandchildren; nephew, Kenneth Humphrey and previous wife, Betty Statler; Loyal and True special friends, David and Jeanne Sutton. Memorial Service Sunday, April 26th, 2009 at 2:00 PM with visitation one hour prior at Thurston-DeShaw Funeral Home, 13817 Jay St. NW, Andover 55304.
