IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Andrew Frederick
Kaiser
January 10, 1982 – March 24, 2020
Kaiser, Andrew Frederick age 38 of Andover was born, a joy to his parents, Susan "Suzy" (Novak) Kaiser and Frederick Kaiser on January 10,1982 in St. Louis Park. His weakened body succumbed to sepsis on March 24, 2020 while battling Cholangiocarcinoma, a rare form of cancer. Not a day, hour or minute during his journey did he not believe he would conquer his cancer and resume his fulfilling life.
Andrew grew up in Mounds View, attended Irondale High School and Mankato State University and was a Sr. Analyst with RBC Capital Markets. Andrew spent his early life playing sports (Basketball and Baseball), travel adventures with his parents, happy times and traditions with his grandparents and extended family, memorable fishing trips with his dad, mostly in Canada, and developing close and lasting friendships. Andrew was an avid sports fan, passionately attending Gopher football and basketball from the time he was toddler, as well as the MN Twins and Wild hockey.
Andrew was preceded in death by his grandparents, Audrey (Zappe) and John Novak, Marcella(Sobiech) and Edmund Kaiser and his uncle, Tony Kaiser. Left to cherish his life and his legacy are his parents, the love of his life and best friend, Brooke (Mauer); his treasured children, Weston and Hayden; his mother and father-in-law, Sherry and Scott Mauer; sister-in-law, Ashley (Kevin) Koontz; nephew and niece, Finn and Nora. He will also be greatly missed by many aunts, uncles and cousins. Andrew was an amazing friend and has a large group of equally amazing friends he has left behind.
Life will never be the same without him. We will all miss his kind, loving, compassionate, and caring nature, his bigger than life personality, his radiant smile, his infectious laugh, his love of music and his desire to dance and sing along, have fun, and his ability to light up a room just being there.
A celebration of Andrew's life will be held on Sunday October 10th 2-5pm at Huntington Bank Stadium (TCF Bank Stadium) in Club Cambria. A short service will be held at 2pm followed by time to join in telling Andrew stories, eat some of his favorite foods and play his favorite tailgate games. Visit Andrew's CaringBridge page for additional information, https://www.caringbridge.org/visit/andrewkaiser. We do not know the number of days we have to walk on this earth, however never could have imagined Andrew's days would be so few. As Weston said, "Dad, go to the beach on St. John USVI and we will find you when it is our time to come join you."
